Terms of Use
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to the FutureInReach website at futureinreach.app (futureinreach.com redirects here), our Reach Packs, prompt cards, emails, AI coach links, Family Safe Setup content and any paid membership or product (together, the “Service”). The Service is provided by [BUSINESS NAME] (“FutureInReach”, “we”, “us”), [ADDRESS]. By using the Service or buying anything from us, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
2. Adults only (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, sign up or make a purchase. By using it, you confirm you’re 18 or over. The Service is not directed to children. Family Safe Setup content is information for parents and carers to read and act on themselves; it doesn’t invite children to use FutureInReach. You’re responsible for decisions about the apps and settings you choose for your family.
3. What FutureInReach is and isn’t
FutureInReach provides general, educational information about using widely available technology and AI tools for everyday tasks. FutureInReach is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, Meta or any other technology company mentioned. Product names belong to their owners. Third-party apps, features, menus, availability and prices change often, and our instructions may become out of date.
4. AI outputs and important disclaimers
Please read this section carefully
Not professional advice. FutureInReach content and any AI output you get from using it are general information only. They’re not legal, medical, clinical, care, financial, tax, accounting, safety, engineering, building-compliance, employment or other professional advice. Get advice from a qualified professional or official source for your situation.
You must check every output. AI tools can produce content that is wrong, incomplete, out of date, biased or made up, while sounding confident. You’re responsible for reviewing, correcting and approving anything before you rely on it, send it, publish it or act on it, including quotes, prices, review replies, workplace notes and any statements about rules or regulations.
Never paste sensitive data. Don’t enter other people’s personal information, health or financial information, government identifiers, passwords or access codes, or confidential employer or client information into any AI tool, including our coaches. You’re responsible for complying with your employer’s policies and applicable privacy laws.
Workplace use. Check and follow your employer’s rules before using AI for work. Some workplaces, especially in health, aged care, disability and childcare, restrict or prohibit AI tools.
Urgent or safety matters. Never use FutureInReach or an AI tool instead of emergency services, incident-reporting procedures, a supervisor or a qualified professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Third-party AI tools. AI coaches and apps are provided by third parties (for example, Google) under their own terms and privacy policies. We don’t control them, can’t guarantee they’ll be available or behave consistently, and aren’t responsible for their outputs or how they handle your data.
5. Your use of the Service
You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully or to harm, harass, scam or deceive anyone; use our coaches or content to create content about real people without their consent; attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Service or our accounts; resell, republish or share paid content publicly; or use the Service in breach of any third-party tool’s terms. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms.
6. Purchases, founding membership and refunds
Prices and payment. Paid products are sold for the price shown at checkout, in US dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. Your bank may charge currency conversion fees. Taxes such as GST, VAT or sales tax may apply depending on where you live. Payments are processed by Stripe and/or Gumroad under their terms. [If Gumroad acts as merchant of record for your sales, say so here.]
Founding membership (pre-sale). The founding membership costs US$19 and gives you 12 months’ access to the FutureInReach Reach Pack library from the date the full library becomes available, including new packs released during that period, voting on future packs and the Family Safe Setup guide. After the first 12 months, membership [does not renew automatically / renews at the then-current price only if you choose to renew]. We’ll tell you the renewal price before any renewal.
14-day refund. You can ask for a full refund of the founding membership within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, by emailing [CONTACT EMAIL] with your purchase email.
Automatic refund if we don’t deliver. If the full founding-member library isn’t live by [DATE], we’ll automatically refund your US$19 to your original payment method without you needing to ask. You won’t be charged again unless you choose to buy later.
Processing. Refunds are made to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days of our approval, though your bank may take longer. We can’t refund payment-provider or bank currency fees we don’t control.
Your consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t lawfully be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law and statutory rights in the UK, EU and elsewhere (for example, rights to a remedy for digital content that is faulty or not as described). EU/UK consumers: by asking for immediate access to digital content, you agree the statutory withdrawal period ends once delivery starts. Our voluntary 14-day refund still applies.
7. Intellectual property and licence
We (or our licensors) own the Service and its content, including the Reach Packs, prompt cards, coach instructions, text, designs and the FutureInReach name. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own work and household. You may copy prompts into AI tools and print cards for your own use. Organisations need a group licence to share content with staff, members or the public; contact [CONTACT EMAIL]. You own the text you write and, as between you and us, the outputs you create, subject to the AI provider’s terms.
8. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback (such as pack requests), you allow us to use them to improve FutureInReach without owing you anything. We won’t publish your name or quotes without your permission.
9. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue free content and features at any time. For paid memberships, we won’t materially reduce what you paid for during your paid period without offering a pro-rata refund. We aim to keep the Service available but don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 6 (Your consumer rights):
- the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we exclude all warranties and conditions not expressly set out in these Terms;
- we aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from AI outputs, your reliance on content without checking it, third-party tools or services, or your breach of these Terms, workplace policies or privacy laws;
- we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill;
- our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50; and
- where the Australian Consumer Law applies and our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited (at our option) to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that can’t be limited or excluded by law.
11. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or content you create or send using AI tools (for example, publishing an unchecked output or pasting someone else’s personal information). This doesn’t apply to consumers where local law prohibits it.
12. Third-party links
The Service links to third-party websites and apps. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices.
13. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and unsubscribe at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms. Clauses that by their nature should survive (including 4, 7, 10, 11 and 14) continue after termination.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW], and the courts there have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring proceedings there. Please contact us first at [CONTACT EMAIL]; most problems can be sorted out quickly.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We’ll post the new version with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you by email. Changes don’t apply retrospectively to purchases already made.
16. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver. You can’t transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a successor business with notice to you. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Service.
